Bluefin tuna is mainly found in the Atlantic and Mediterranean sea and is mainly used for making Japanese sushi, due to high demand this has led to unsustainable over fishing. Today the bluefin tuna population is near collapse and at serious risk of extinction. The WWF are calling for a temporary ban on fishing bluefin tuna to allow the population to re-establish it's numbers.
