Polar Bear

The Arctic polar bear has become the iconic symbol of climate change. Polar bears will become increasingly vunerable within the next century if warming trends continue. This means the summer ice will disappear which is where polar bears hunt for food and raise their young. Warming seas could also cause a drop in the number of seals which is the main source of polar bear's food. The WWF are helping people to minimise the impact of climate change and to help reduce the amount of greenhouse gases which are responsible for melting the polar bears sea ice.
